Re-Value Final Forum: Urban Waterfronts in Transition
Date: 18 November 2026
Time: 09:00-18:00
Venue: Bruges Meeting & Convention Centre (BMCC)
Location: Bruges, Belgium
Forum Description
The Re-Value Final Forum will take place on 18 November 2026 at the Bruges Meeting & Convention Centre (BMCC) in Bruges, Belgium to mark the culmination of a collaborative journey with nine European waterfront cities.
The Forum will showcase how cities are advancing climate-neutral redevelopment through inclusive urban planning and design approaches, with waterfronts serving as the connective space through which they reimagine more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient futures.
Bringing together a diverse community of city-makers and EU policy-makers, the Forum will connect city and EU-level representatives and practitioners with architects, urban planners, engineers, researchers, programmers, data enthusiasts, creatives, and artists to exchange experiences, reflect on shared challenges, and explore practical pathways for climate action in urban waterfronts. At a time when cities are moving from planning to implementation, the Forum will provide a collaborative space to share effective approaches to transforming waterfronts through integrated environmental, social, spatial, and creative strategies.
