Professor Silvio Nocera from IUAV University of Venice delivered a presentation on Sustainable Transportation and Future Mobility, highlighting key challenges and opportunities in transport planning. He showcased several projects that demonstrate the evolution of the field, including the SCUDO project, which utilises AI-driven predictive models to enhance transport resilience, and the highly successful Mobilitas project, which focuses on strategies to reduce seasonal congestion caused by tourism.

This presentation was part of the Re-Value Round "Sustainable Mobility in Italy" hosted by Municipality of Rimini. The Re-Value Rounds are online events organised by ICLEI Europe to inspire and build capacity as part of the EU-funded Re-Value project.
