Casimiro Monteiro from Cascais Ambiente presented the Cascais Smart Pole and the implementation of Energy Communities, benefiting over 100 families. The presentation outlined the process of installing renewable energy infrastructure in neighborhoods, highlighting the program’s impact on reducing emissions, generating economic savings, and enhancing community well-being. 

This presentation was part of the Re-Value Round "Energy Transition in Cities" and hosted by Cascais Ambiente and ICLEI Europe. The Re-Value Rounds are online events organised by ICLEI Europe to inspire and build capacity as part of the EU-funded Re-Value project.
