Florinda Saieva shares the story of FARM Cultural Park in Favara, Italy. FARM Cultural Park is a community-driven initiative that uses art and culture as catalysts for social, economic and civic regeneration. She explains how abandoned historic spaces were transformed into cultural centers, creating a “platform for change” that tackles urban decline, youth engagement and gender inequality while rebuilding trust and local pride.

Part of the third Re-Value Expert Exchange on "Culture-Led Transformation", this presentation shows how cultural investment, long-term commitment and knowledge-sharing can empower communities and inspire context-specific regeneration processes far beyond a single place. The Re-Value Expert Exchanges are online learning events organised by ICLEI Europe to inspire and build capacity as part of the EU-funded Re-Value project.
