Urban Future. The Better-Cities Event

From 24–27 March 2026, urban innovators, city leaders and sustainability practitioners will gather in Ljubljana forUrban Future. The Better-Cities Event 2026, one of Europe’s leading conferences on sustainable urban development.
Over 3.5 days, the event will bring together around 2,000 “CityChangers,” 180 speakers, and more than 60 sessions, alongside field trips, workshops and networking opportunities. The programme explores key themes shaping cities today, including tactical urbanism, circularity, resilient societies, governance innovation and climate communication.
Re-Value partners representatives will actively contribute to two sessions, sharing experiences from the project and showcasing how creative engagement and communication can support climate-neutral urban transformation.
- João Dinis, Climate Action Director at Cascais Ambiente EMAC, will speak in the session “Climate Communication for Cities: How to speak to different audiences” at 11:00 on 25 March;
- Adam Langer from Sladovna Písek will contribute to the session “Why Is This Working! How arts step in where words fail us” at 16:00 on 26 March.
