TUTTA MIA LA CITTÀ is a unique opportunity to explore the principles of gender-inclusive urban planning and discuss how public spaces can be designed to be safer, greener, more inclusive, and more just for everyone.

The event will feature Eva Kail, a renowned urban planner and founder of Frauenbüro - The Women’s Office in Vienna. Eva will share her extensive experience in integrating gender perspectives into urban planning, focusing on Vienna’s innovative public spaces created through the Frauenbüro.

These spaces aim to create a city that works for women, but as Eva Kail points out, a city designed with gender equality in mind is a city that benefits everyone—more secure, inclusive, healthy, and just for all its inhabitants.

Eva Kail (born in 1959, Vienna) is an urban planner and founder of Frauenbüro (The Women’s Office) in Vienna, which was established in 1991. Over the past 30 years, Eva has been at the forefront of integrating gender perspectives into urban planning in Vienna, contributing to the development of projects that promote gender equality in the city's public spaces, transport systems, and housing initiatives.

Frauenbüro has focused on a wide range of activities, including the planning of safe and inclusive urban spaces, designing parks and public spaces that meet the needs of girls and women, and advocating for female-friendly housing projects.
